Payments

How can I pay?

For quote-based made-to-measure orders you can pay by bank transfer. For the other items you can pay securely by card at checkout.

For made-to-order and made-to-measure items, full payment is required before fabrication begins.

Can I get a VAT invoice?

Yes. Email hello@calmerastone.co.uk with your order number and we’ll provide a VAT invoice.

Lead Times & Made to Order

Are your products in stock?

Most Calmera items are made to order. Typical lead time is around 4–6 weeks in vanity units, and 6-8 weeks in custom depending on the product and selected options.

What does “made-to-measure” mean?

Made-to-measure items are cut to your dimensions and finished to order. This includes kitchen worktops, table tops, splashbacks, XL tiles etc.

When should I book my installer/contractor?

If you are not having installation service from Calmera, we strongly recommend waiting until we book the delivery date with you before booking tradespeople.

Delivery (UK Mainland Only)

Do you deliver outside the UK?

No — Calmera currently offers UK Mainland delivery only.

How much is delivery?

The delivery cost for vanity units to mainland UK is £120.

Delivery for other made-to-measure items such as worktops, splashbacks, and table tops is included in the quotation.

For all other products, delivery is calculated at checkout based on your order and postcode.

How are orders delivered?

Many orders are delivered by third-party kerbside pallet delivery. This is a kerb/entrance-only service — delivery teams are not insured to carry goods indoors.

Do I need to be present at delivery?

Yes. A responsible person must be available to accept delivery, inspect the goods, and sign the proof of delivery (POD). Any visible damage should be noted on the POD.

Can you guarantee a timed delivery slot?

Delivery is usually provided as a time window (often 9am–5pm). Exact timed slots are not guaranteed unless agreed in writing.

What if I’m not in when the delivery arrives?

Please contact us as soon as possible. Failed deliveries may result in re-delivery and/or storage charges. Re-delivery charges may be up to 90% of the original delivery cost.

What about access restrictions?

Please tell us in advance about any access constraints (narrow roads, parking limits, stairs, gated access, restricted vehicle access). Pallet trucks require a solid, level surface (tarmac/concrete/paving).

Can goods be left outside?

We strongly advise against it. Marble and stone items are heavy and high value — leaving goods outside increases risk of theft and weather damage. We can’t accept liability for loss or damage after delivery is completed.

Installation (London inside M25)

Do you offer installation?

Yes — we offer professional installation within London (inside the M25) as an optional add-on at an additional cost.

In some cases, we may also offer installation in areas around London, subject to availability.

Will installation happen at the same time as delivery?

Because deliveries are kerbside, delivery and installation must be scheduled for the same agreed time, so the installation team can take the items in from the kerbside which is important to prevent potential loss due to theft or wether conditions.

What’s included / excluded?

Installation scope is described on the product page. Unless agreed in writing, installation does not include plumbing/electrical works, structural alterations, or remedial building works.

Natural Stone & Marble Gallery

Can you guarantee the exact veining or shade shown in photos?

No. Marble and natural stone vary naturally — differences in veining, tone, and pattern are normal and part of the material’s character.

What is the Marble Gallery?

Our Marble Gallery is a visual reference to help customers explore options and communicate their preferences. It is not priced and does not guarantee identical slab appearance.

Can I request extra photos before I order?

Yes. Email hello@calmerastone.co.uk with the marble name(s) you’re considering and what you’re ordering (vanity top / worktop / splashback / custom tiles).

Changes, Cancellations & Returns

Can I cancel or change my order?

Made-to-order / made-to-measure items (including vanity units) cannot be cancelled once fabrication has started. If you need to change something, contact us immediately — changes may not be possible once production begins and may affect lead time and cost.

Can I return my order?

Returns are only possible by prior agreement and generally apply only to non-custom, standard items (if available). Approved returns are subject to a 35% restocking, handling and transaction fee and items must be unused and in original condition/packaging.

Damages & Issues

What if my goods arrive damaged?

Inspect goods upon delivery, note visible damage on the POD (mark as “DAMAGED”), then email hello@calmerastone.co.uk within 48 hours with photos/video and your order number. Reports made after 48 hours or after installation/alteration may limit the remedies available.
